Rebekkah Hilgraves, the company's founder and president, has been knocking around the IT industry for many years, particularly high-tech startups, beginning in technical training and support and moving through documentation, project management and finally small business technology consulting, which included security, web hosting, design and maintenance, small networks, software support and the ubiquitous "other duties as assigned" (which is probably the entirety of any consultant's job description).

Becoming the Managing Editor of NetPerformance.com, an online technical magazine, in 2006 prompted her to move more strongly into web design and content management, now one of the primary specialties of SheTech and Company.

With expertise in CSS, Photoshop and web operations and implementation, several collaboration and content management systems (including SharePoint, the open source Joomla! and commercial Interwoven and Ektron CMS solutions) and blog platforms; she has a strong background in writing, editing and multimedia development and has written training courses and paper books on helpdesk, customer relationship management, and the Photoshop software, among other topics.

Rebekkah Hilgraves is the recent co-author with David Busch of David Busch's Quick Snap Guide to Adobe Photoshop.com and David Busch's Quick Snap Guide to Photoblogging with WordPress.

In her spare time, Rebekkah is also an opera singer, often annoying neighbors and scaring small children with the sound of her voice.
